MEET HALCYON DAYS CIDER CO.

A Cidery With a Story to Tell

Halcyon Days Cider Company is a small Virginia cidery with a personality all its own. Along with handcrafted ciders and a welcoming taproom, the property features a walkable labyrinth and a beautiful Shenandoah Valley setting.

The goal was to create a website that captured that experience while making it easy for visitors to discover what's pouring, plan a visit, learn about the labyrinth and get a feel for what makes Halcyon Days different.

Also, the owners wanted a website that was easy for them to manage, update their cider selection regularly, promote upcoming events, and capture interest for private events at the Cidery.

The goal was to create a website that captures the personality of Halcyon Days and gives visitors a sense of the experience beyond the cider.

MAKE THE SITE EASY TO MANAGE

Build a flexible Squarespace content structure that allows the team to keep their ciders, upcoming events and media mentions current.

MAKE CIDERS EASY TO EXPLORE

Organize the rotating and seasonal cider lineup so visitors can quickly see what’s currently pouring. Plus, create a landing page for in-house cider menus via a QR code scan.

Designed Around the Experience

From the colors and typography to the imagery and page structure, every detail was designed to feel welcoming, natural, and distinctly Halcyon Days. But a beautiful website was only part of the goal. The site also needed to be easy for the team to maintain and update as their business evolves, from adding events and media mentions to regularly updating their rotating cider lineup. The result is a flexible Squarespace site designed to look great today and keep working for them tomorrow.
