Template Support Terms & Policies

Squarespace Template Policy:

When you purchase a Squarespace template from Mattison Digital, you will receive a contributor invitation email with a link to accept the template as a new website in your Squarespace account. If you don’t already have a Squarespace account, it will prompt you to create one. If you already have a Squarespace account, it will ask you to log in. Then the template will appear as a new website in your account.

We will always do our best to have your template invitation link sent to you within 48 business hours (Mon-Fri). This time frame could vary due to potential unforeseen circumstances, and although unlikely, we can’t guarantee that it won’t take longer than 48 business hours. If for any reason you don’t receive your template invitation link and it’s beyond the 48 hour window, please email hello@mattisondigital.com.

We are only able to send you the template invitation link one time, as your purchase includes only one template install. If you make substantial changes to the template that you can’t undo, or if you don’t accept your invitation within 3 months of purchase and the 3-month trial expires, you will have to repurchase the template. The reason for this is that we have to prepare a new template for you and resend it through Squarespace.

When you accept the invitation for your new template, it will be installed with a 3-month free trial. If the trial expires, you will have to purchase a Squarespace subscription plan. Otherwise, the website will be marked for deletion by Squarespace. They will send you an email seven days before deleting the site. If you’re still working on your site when the 3-month trial is set to expire, you can request a trial extension by contacting Squarespace Support.

Installing template pages into existing sites:

If you requested to have the template pages installed into an existing Squarespace website/domain, you will receive instructions via email from us for next steps. This process requires an extra step to be completed by you, before we can install it in your account. Once you complete the step outlined in the email and invite us as a contributor to your existing Squarespace account, we’ll install the template pages for you. We will do our best to have them installed within 48 business hours after receiving the appropriate credentials.

Note: we are unable to install pages into an existing website without credentials. If you don’t send us the contributor invitation, we will be unable to complete the install. It is 100% your responsibility to provide us with the necessary credentials to complete the install process. We will make every reasonable attempt to obtain the credentials, but if we do not hear from you within 7 business days of the request, we reserve the right to deliver the template as a new website or cancel the transaction. If the transaction is cancelled, your access to the free Template Resource Library will also be revoked.

Once the template pages are installed in your existing site (they will be installed under the Not Linked section), it is no longer our responsibility to add your own content and edit the site. If you change things that you can’t reverse, we’re not available to fix the original template pages that were installed.

While we are installing the pages in your existing site, we will do our best not to disrupt any existing content or pages, but we cannot be held responsible in the event an issue or a glitch arises during the installation process that results in loss or disruption of your content. Often times existing sites may contain external code, third party code, custom CSS, or other custom code; this can interfere with templates.

Mattison Digital reserves the right to cancel or decline an installation transaction at any time. In the event a transaction is cancelled, Mattison Digital will refund you the full amount of the purchase.
