That's what Template Styling is for. I'll take your chosen template and customize the visual foundation around your brand, so when you log in, the site already feels like yours.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • I’ll customize your chosen Squarespace template with your logo, colors, fonts, buttons, and other visual details so the site feels distinctly yours.

  • I’ll customize layouts, spacing, typography, imagery, and other design details throughout the agreed-upon pages. I’ll also make sure your site looks polished and cohesive across desktop and mobile, with basic SEO setup included.

  • You’ll provide and add your website copy, photos, links, and other content. I’ll make sure the design is ready for your content, but you remain in control of what goes on each page.

  • Once the styling is complete, you’ll take over the site and handle the final content entry, setup, and launch. You’ll have a professionally styled Squarespace foundation that you can continue to build and manage yourself.

  • No, the template cost is included in the Template Styling fee. You will select your template when we kick off the project.

  • I'll customize your template's visual styling, including your logo, brand colors, typography, buttons, navigation, headers, footers, and other site-wide design elements. I'll also make appropriate adjustments to the layout and mobile styling. If you provide any brand photos, I can add those photos as well. If you don’t provide photos, placeholder images will be clearly labeled for you to update them.

    If you are looking for content support, and full setup and launch of your site, explore our Done-For-You Website Design service, which may be better suited for your project.

  • No. Template Styling is a design-focused service. You'll create and add your own website copy.

  • Yes, I'll work with photos you provide and can replace template imagery where appropriate. If you don't have your photos ready, I'll leave clearly marked placeholders for you to replace.

    I also will provide a link to training documentation explaining how best to format and compress your photos for your Squarespace website.

    Optimizing your photo sizes is good for SEO and ensures your website loads efficiently and quickly.

  • No. You'll be responsible for adding your final copy, any further photos, business information, links, forms, and other content after the styling is complete.

  • Yes, within reason. Small design and layout adjustments are part of the styling process. More extensive custom functionality or structural changes may require additional work and will be quoted separately. I will not recreate an entire page.

  • Yes, additional pages above and beyond what is included in a template, can be added for an additional fee.

  • Yes, basic SEO setup is included, including:

    • Global site metadata - site title, description and favicon

    • Optimizing page titles and descriptions

    • URL slugs

    • Navigation setup

    • SSL Confirmation

    • Appropriate ALT text for images

  • SEO is a comprehensive strategy made up of multiple components all working together. While we set up the basic SEO for your site, we don’t offer additional SEO services. Here’s what we do not include:

    • Keyword research

    • Competitor research

    • SEO content strategy

    • Blog/content strategy

    • Writing SEO-focused page copy

    • Google Business Profile optimization

    • Backlink strategy

    • Local SEO strategy

  • Once I have your brand assets and project information, I'll provide an estimated timeline based on the scope of your project. Most projects are completed within 5 business days of receiving your brand assets and information.

  • I’ll review your request and follow up via email with next steps. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll set up a Google Virtual Meeting (or in person meeting if you’re local) to talk through your needs, timeline, and the best way to move forward.
