I'll help organize your information and shape it into clear, useful website content. We can pull content from your existing website (if available), marketing materials, flyers, and even your social media channels.

I'll help you organize the photos you already have. We can pull from your social channels and existing website. You can also upload from your own photo archive into a shared Google Drive. Some pages may require specific photos to match the messaging; if I don’t find a photo to suit the message, I’ll ask you to capture it or pull from your own photo archive.

I'll handle the design and development in Squarespace, including mobile friendly layouts for desktop and mobile screens.

Your website will include foundational SEO setup, including page titles and descriptions, image alt text, social sharing images, and clean URL structures. Before launch, I’ll complete a final QA review, test forms and key functionality, handle necessary URL redirects, and guide you through domain and social media setup.

I'll guide you through what I need from you, including your business information, photos, brand assets, and other content. Don't worry if it's not perfectly organized, I'll help you figure out what we need.

DESIGN & BUILD
This is where I take over. I'll shape your content into the site structure, design the pages, build everything in Squarespace, and handle the technical details along the way. You'll have opportunities to review and provide feedback.

Yes. Every website begins with a Mattison Digital design foundation. From there, I customize the design, structure, content, and functionality around your business.

No. You don't need to arrive with perfectly written copy or a perfectly organized folder of photos. I'll help you gather, organize, and shape the content we need for your website. More extensive copywriting can be added if your project requires it.

The starting package includes up to 8 core pages, plus 1 custom page. Additional pages can be added based on the needs of your business. The core pages included depend upon the project scope. Often these are your Home, About, Contact, Product/Services Page, Products/Services Detail Page, FAQs, Pricing, and/or Events. These are subject to change based upon your project scope.

Absolutely. Every website is designed and optimized for desktop and mobile viewing.

That's absolutely fine. Collections, additional content, ecommerce, scheduling, integrations, and other functionality can be added to your project. Your proposal will outline exactly what's included before we begin, and the estimate will reflect any additional content needed. If your project only has 6 core pages, we can discuss swapping in a collection for the other core pages.

This depends on the scope of your project and how quickly content and feedback are provided. Once I understand what your website needs, I'll give you a realistic timeline with your proposal.
Most done-for-you design projects usually take between 10-15 business days once all your assets and content are received. Other services will depend upon the project details and what needs to be done.

Yes. A 50% deposit reserves your project spot, with the remaining 50% due upon completion.

Yes. Your website is built in Squarespace, so you'll have full access to make updates after launch. I'll also make sure you're comfortable with the basics before we wrap up your project.

If you need help setting up additional marketing systems, include this in your project request form so we can discuss what systems you need help with. We can help you set up Squarespace marketing tools, but if you’re looking to connect your third-party tools, we can provide guidance on where to find the embed codes to include on your Squarespace site. Setting up ecommerce, online courses/memberships, or other non-core content in Squarespace can certainly be completed and is considered an add-on to your project.

That’s great, that means you’re already familiar with Squarespace! There are a few options for you in this scenario. First, you can choose a brand new template to overhaul your existing site. Or, if your Squarespace website is fairly new but just doesn’t feel polished or finished, we can update your site with our Site Refresh service.

Not at all! I’ll walk you through the basics and provide tutorials so you can confidently manage your site after our project wraps.

When the website is ready to be launched, I will transfer ownership of the site over to you inside Squarespace. Once you accept ownership, you then have to select and set up billing for your own Squarespace subscription. This gives you full control over your subscription with Squarespace without a middleman. If you are transferring a domain to Squarespace or connecting a third-party domain (your domain is held elsewhere like Namecheap for example), I will walk you through this process.

You’ll receive post-launch email support for questions or tweaks to your design. For continued help, or requests that require new work/development, we can discuss additional design hours or a mini refresh later down the road.
I do offer Virtual Marketing Assistance, which is most often billed at an hourly rate or on a monthly retainer. Submit a project request form if you need additional work beyond what your project has scoped.
